This is the 2nd annual NDHA Fun Run 1mile/5K walk or run which is bringing awareness to Oral Cancer. This event will be held again at Chalco Hills in Omaha. This event is put on by the Nebraska Dental Hygienists’ Association. Last year was the 1st year and it was a success with about 200 people walking or running for a great cause. There were even about 18 Past Presidents of NDHA in attendance from all over the State supporting Oral Cancer. There are many dental offices and specialties across our State who will be sponsors again, as well as many vendors, food truck, Big O Snow, In-phase audio providing music, raffle and lot of fun and networking for a great cause. We also plan on having many Dental Hygiene students in attendance volunteering and helping out with the event from all three colleges. We are planning on having more in attendance this year as the word has spread. We would like to have more cancer survivors in attendance.
