Boomer Business of the Week – Dynamic Fitness

This fitness center really revolves around community, love and acceptance: that’s Dynamic Fitness. When I sat down with co-owner of Dynamic Fitness, Micha Solomon, told me that among other goals, they focus on “forming a bond among members to build friendships and a strong sense of community in the gym.” About one year ago, Dynamic Fitness opened their doors to the Omaha community to provide specialized training you can’t find elsewhere. Just this year, Dynamic Fitness was nominated as Best of Omaha in the fitness and health category.

Helping anyone and everyone, Dynamic Fitness has options to satisfy any client. Some of their services include: small group training, personal training, boot camp, rowing classes, and Krav Maga, a self defense style taught by the Israeli military. The owners at the training facility, Micha and Brent Dierking, also engage in a ton of community involvement. Since Micha is ex-special forces, he is uniquely equipped to teach – he even teaches women and children at the Lydia House to protect themselves using self defense techniques. Micha also coaches the Omaha GOATS rugby team and trains the UNO women’s soccer team. He has a degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition with certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and National Strength and Conditioning Association.

“This is a place I want people to look forward to – an escape from their daily lives.” Dynamic Fitness is suitable for everyone. Micha shared with me a variety of success stories he’s been a part of in their first year. The trainers at the facility pride themselves on establishing a community and welcoming individuals into it. When acceptance comes before competition, gym goers really feel that not only do their coaches want to see them succeed but everyone around you is cheering you on.
