Le Quartier is much more than just a lunch or hangout spot. Co-owner Seth Quiring says, “We want to be the neighborhood bakery. We want our customers to be able to treat themselves or treat others.” Specializing in their exclusive, French style pastries and baguettes, Le Quartier’s customers always come back for more.
After co-owner, John Quiring, learned the trade in Montreal and Paris, he came back to Lincoln, Nebraska to start the first Le Quartier Baking Company in March 2006. Since then, the brothers opened their second bakery in Countryside Village and recently added a third in Omaha’s Dundee neighborhood. From their roots as a neighborhood bakery, Le Quarier has expanded into the cafe and lunch market – the bakeries are now well known for their chicken salad sandwiches on freshly baked croissants. What sounds like a common sandwich offering becomes something special at Le Quartier due to a combination of the highest quality chicken and a unique blend of seasonings. Thats the essence of what makes this company different – the ability to take something familiar and make it extraordinary.
Le Quartier takes pride in being family owned. Seth told us they do quite a bit of collaboration with farmer’s markets on the weekends. They also supply to restaurants around the Omaha area. Whether someone is looking for a fresh baguette to serve with their own home cooked dinner, or just to grab a tasty lunch, Le Quartier has a wide variety of delicious and authentic products that will amaze anyone.
